TheStoreFrontByLaura Research is a private, internal tool built for a single independent Etsy shop, TheStoreFrontByLaura. It reads publicly available trend and search data from Pinterest's API to inform the shop's own product design decisions. It is not a public-facing application, and it has no users other than the shop's owner.

What this application does

• Connects to Pinterest's official API, under the shop owner's own developer authorization, to read trend, search, and analytics data made available through that API.
• Uses that data internally to guide design and product research for the shop's own listings.

What this application does not do

• It does not collect, store, or process personal data belonging to any Pinterest user, visitor, or third party.
• It has no public sign-in, no visitor accounts, and no interface accessible to anyone other than the shop owner.
• It does not sell, share, or transmit any data to outside parties.
• It does not use Pinterest data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the shop owner's own internal research.

Data retention

Any data retrieved through the Pinterest API is stored locally, on infrastructure the shop owner controls, for as long as it remains useful for internal research. It is not retained indefinitely or used for any purpose beyond that research.

Changes to this policy

If how this application uses data changes materially, this page will be updated to reflect that.
